Bye bye mouse!

I recently tackled a persistent rodent problem by purchasing this copper mesh online, and it’s been a game-changer. I just need to install it wherever there are gaps for rodents.
Installation was a breeze, thanks to its flexibility and durability. The mesh, rust-resistant and eco-friendly, effectively seals gaps without compromising ventilation.
Since using it behind my toilet seat, rodent activity has significantly dropped. The copper mesh provides a humane, chemical-free solution.
This copper mesh is a cost-effective and efficient way to keep pests at bay. It’s a must-have for anyone dealing with rodent nuisances.

Brilliant ✨️ 🐭

We had a little visitor called Bob. He was a very good little field mouse. He didn’t destroy anything in our home but would visit in the evening looking for food. We have a beloved guinea pig called Cuddles. We were concerned she might not appreciate a visit at such a late hour from Bob. So a humane trap had to be purchased. We choose this one as all the reviews ,though few were positive. We set the trap under the kitchen sink at 5pm. By 9pm Bob was enjoying a snack completely unharmed in the trap. First thing the next morning we took Bob to his new home in a hollow old tree which was safe, cosy and most importantly uninhabited. He is enjoying his new home, taking in the view and smelling the spring flowers all around. We and Bob would highly recommend this trap.

The end.

Great built

Bought two different sizes of this. It doesn’t include the screws but its not a big deal as it does mention on the listing that it comes with air vent only anyway.

I recently purchased this sarkman air vent cover primarily for its rodent prevention feature, and it has exceeded my expectations in this regard. Vent cover serves its purpose remarkably well. Since installing it, I’ve had no issues with rodents gaining access to the building through the vent. It provides reliable protection, giving me peace of mind. Despite not having a filter, the cover’s sturdy build is apparent. The material feels durable and strong, ensuring it withstands external elements effectively. Installing the cover was a straightforward process. The instructions were clear, allowing for a quick setup without any complications. While its primary function is rodent prevention, it also blends in seamlessly with the building’s exterior. The design is subtle and doesn’t detract from the overall aesthetics. Beyond keeping rodents out, it also enhances the overall security of the building by blocking potential entry points.

This air vent cover has proven to be an excellent investment for safeguarding against rodent intrusion. While it doesn’t include a filter, its robust construction and effectiveness in preventing access make it a worthwhile purchase for anyone concerned about rodent control.

Good traps! Read instructions and be patient...

Bought a couple of different traps, had most success with these. They are bigger and seem to be stronger than the others we purchased. And these were cheaper.

Gloves and instructions were very useful.

Keeping human scent off the traps and allowing the rats time to get used to them (baiting but not setting) etc. has helped catch a trap-shy rat.

Works every time - with the right bait

I have a neighbour with a huge overgrown garden (her house looks like a horror movie set as well). Consequently over the last few years we have the autumn influx of critters which move into my sheds for the winter. They even dug under the ground to come in via the floor! I have tried everything available to be kind to them, then to poison them then to trap them. Only death works because there are so many breeding mice next door. These traps are failsafe. Box has warnings in about useless bait (like cheese, peanut butter etc) and also comes with gloves and brushes to get rid of fleshy ick. You need a 2-pronged attack – I have heeded the advice and only put about six grains of poison in the middle well in each trap. I then set trap and dropped only about 2-3 grains beside trap to have a trail going to trap. Every single day I have set two traps as an experiment and every day I have caught two mice.

Bye bye mouse!

Definitely works. Baited with peanut butter, crunchy or smooth. Sad, as they’re so cute, but really don’t want the little critters in my cupboards!

I realised that there were no reviews on this product at the time so I wanted to write a few things;

Note at end of November: I have now caught two mice a day for 16 days – found out they came in via a mole tunnel underground then chewed through a wall. I filled up hole n have no more since – using this method NOT ONE MOUSE HAS BEEN TRAPPED BY LEG ETC and all die quickly by instant effect as their eyes are still open in surprise. Not cruel and no lingering suffering for them, just instant.
